I had the tremendous privilege to be born and raised in a Christ-centered home. As a family, we would gather around the television to watch Billy Graham Crusade’s every time they were aired. Yet it wasn’t until the 28 January 1978 that I gave my heart and life to Jesus Christ. That night, I heard that God loved me and wanted a personal relationship with me. Yet because of sin in my life, I was separated from a Holy God and my relationship with Him was broken. As an 8-year-old boy I knew that I was a sinner and did not want to be separated from God. During family devotions that night, I got down on my knees, I confessed my sins, I asked Jesus to forgive me of my sins and by Faith I asked Jesus to come into my heart and life. Praise God! HE did!

 

Then on the 22 August 1982 I followed the Lord’s command to be baptized symbolizing my inward conversion & publicly identifying my life with Jesus Christ.

Since then God is continuing to transcribe His Story on the tablet of my own heart. It is a joy to know Jesus and make Him

known!
